Privacy & deletion
MatchWorks is a free tennis-matching pilot operated by MATCHWORKS LLC, with Glenn Saperstein as the pilot administrator. This notice describes how the pilot currently works.
What we collect and why
The email pilot stores your first name, email address, playing level, selected playing cities, states and time zones, consent records, verification status, playing requests, match decisions and private website messages. We also keep delivery and security records to operate the service.
Who can see your information
There is no public directory. A suggested partner sees your first name, level and shared playing availability. Your email address is never displayed to another player. Both players must agree before a private conversation opens. If you type contact details into a message, you are choosing to share them.
The pilot administrator can access records for support, safety and operation. Cloudflare hosts the website and matching service. Resend, our email delivery provider, processes notification recipients and email contents. Sponsors receive aggregate results only, never player profiles or conversations.
Email choices
Enrollment is voluntary. Sign-in links and matching alerts are service emails, with no sponsor promotions. You can pause matching notifications in your dashboard; requested sign-in emails remain available. We do not sell your email or consent information. Check Spam or Junk and mark MatchWorks as a safe sender. Replies to notification emails are not relayed to players.
Anonymous visit counts
MatchWorks records aggregate Naples page-view counts by date, page and general referral source such as Facebook, Google, direct or other. An optional campaign label may also be recorded. The counter does not store your name, email address, IP address, cookies or a browser fingerprint. Session storage in your browser helps avoid counting repeated reloads in the same tab session.
Retention
There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for player profiles, requests, match history and private messages. These pilot records remain until an administrator deletes them. Closing a request or conversation stops further participation but does not erase history. Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes and sessions after seven days. Email providers may retain their own delivery records.
Your choices and deletion
Pass on any suggestion, close a request or conversation, or pause matching notifications from your dashboard. To request a copy or deletion of your records, email glenn@matchworkstennis.com from your enrolled address. We verify ownership before processing and explain any records that cannot be removed. A deletion request does not instantly erase data.
