Pilot terms
A free founding-player pilot
The MatchWorks pilot is operated by MATCHWORKS LLC and is for adults 18 and older who want to play tennis in the United States. There is NO FEE to join or use this pilot. Player pools develop separately in each playing location. A compatible match may take time as the pool grows and is never guaranteed.
Voluntary email enrollment
This pilot provides email alerts and private website conversations. Browsing does not enroll you. When you enroll, you agree to account and matching service emails, with no advertising. You can pause matching notifications in your dashboard.
You choose whether to connect
Use accurate, current information about your level, playing city and state, time zone and availability. Verify your email through a sign-in link, then add a specific playing request. Signup alone is not an active request. Every suggestion is optional, and both players must agree before a private conversation opens.
Arranging a game
Players confirm the time, court, access, reservations and any court charges directly with one another. MatchWorks does not reserve courts, verify playing ability, conduct background checks or guarantee another player’s conduct or attendance. You decide whether an arrangement works for you.
Respectful participation
Be considerate, honor people’s choices and keep another player’s information private. Do not harass, spam or misrepresent yourself. MatchWorks may retain private messages for pilot operation and may remove players or requests that disrupt the pilot.
Leaving or pausing
Close requests or conversations and pause matching emails from your dashboard. Email replies are not relayed to other players; use the website to reply. Read the privacy and retention notice before enrolling. There is no automatic deletion schedule; you can request deletion through the contact there.
A service still taking shape
Features, availability and onboarding may change while the pilot develops. The administrator will communicate material changes to participants. Joining the pilot does not commit you to a future paid service.
