Charleston pilot terms
A free founding-player pilot
The MatchWorks Charleston pilot is for adults 18 and older who can play tennis in the Charleston area. There is NO FEE to join or use this pilot. The local test group is just getting started. A compatible match may take time as the pool grows and is never guaranteed.
You choose whether to connect
Use accurate, current information about your level, location and availability. Once onboarded in Slack, submit a current game request to participate in matching. A founding signup alone is not an active request. Every proposed match is optional: connect by DM - or you can simply pass.
Arranging a game
Players confirm the time, court, access, reservations and any court charges directly with one another. MatchWorks does not reserve courts, verify playing ability, conduct background checks or guarantee another player’s conduct or attendance. You decide whether an arrangement works for you.
Respectful participation
Be considerate, honor people’s choices and keep another player’s private information private. Do not harass, spam or misrepresent yourself. The administrator may remove accounts or requests that disrupt the pilot.
Data and leaving the pilot
Read the privacy and retention notice before signing up. There is no automatic deletion schedule; you can request deletion there or contact Glenn in the Charleston Slack workspace. You can cancel requests or stop participating at any time.
A service still taking shape
Features, availability and onboarding may change while the pilot develops. The administrator will communicate material changes to participants. Joining the pilot does not commit you to a future paid service.
