MatchWorks SMS Terms

MatchWorks SMS is a free service operated by MATCHWORKS LLC for adults 18 and older who are seeking tennis partners in the United States. It covers phone verification, tennis requests, potential matches, match updates and private player conversations. Participation requires explicit consent and phone verification. MatchWorks uses text messaging for matching and conversations; email matching and email relays are not offered.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your activity and matching opportunities. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Delivery can be delayed or unavailable. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping messages and getting help

Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for assistance. You may also email glenn@matchworkstennis.com for support. Stopping texts ends matching and private conversations by text. To return after opting out, you must give consent and verify your phone again.

Matching and conversations

Private conversations open only after both players express interest. MatchWorks does not display either player’s mobile number to the other. Participants may voluntarily share information in their messages. An introduction does not reserve a court, guarantee a partner or obligate anyone to play. Players are responsible for confirming the time, court, access, reservations and any charges directly with one another.

Respectful participation

Do not harass, spam or misrepresent yourself. Keep another player’s private information private. MatchWorks may suspend accounts or requests that disrupt the service or put participants at risk.
